Boi-ing Benefit Concealer in Medium Shade

Friday, March 20, 2015
Okay here we go again, after a gazillion year i never wrote anything on this blog, i'm up with a review about Boi-Ing Concealer in travel size which i got from Benefit How To Look The Best at Everything gift set, i have had this beautykit since like last year hence i don't really remember the price.
This beautykit consists of 4products, including:
-0.25 oz The POREfessional
- 0.23 oz Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow SPF 25 PA+++ in "I'm so Money!" Honey
- 2 x 0.05 oz Boi-ing in 03 and 04
- 0.14 oz "Hello Flawless!" in "I’m Cute as a Bunny" Honey

But in this post i'm only gonna review their Boi-Ing concealer in shade #03 and #04

The texture of this concealer is thick and creamy, some people might find it too thick but for me it's just great to cover my dark circle, since it came in 2 shades, i always use the darker concealer first as a base before putting the lighter one on top and it does a really great job on covering dark circle, blemishes, discoloration. But because its thick texture, a small drop of moisturizer can give a huge difference on it. In this case, i always use my Vaseline Petroleum Jelly before using this concealer.

Right: shade #03

Top: shade #03
Bottom: shade #4

And here's some picture for you to judge this Boi-Ing Concealer based on how it does cover my dark circle

Unfortunately, it doesn't come with concealer brush, so you can apply this concealer with your ring finger or your own concealer brush, but i'd prefer applying it with my ring finger and dap it on to my dark circle, in that way, i can actually manage the amount of the concealer with my finger because i don't wanna put too much concealer on my face or else it would sink into my fine lines and looks fake. But make sure you've washed your hands before putting any makeup on your face

Final thoughts: I love this concealer, i've using it for almost 9months and there's still so much left. I only need a small amount of this to cover up my dark circle and it does cover my dark circle really well without sinking into fine lines whatsoever. And it's travel-friendly, i can just put it inside my pocket without people noticing it :p

Have you ever tried this concealer before? Let me know your thought in the comment bellow

Love, Michelle

Mavala Double Lash Review

Saturday, August 23, 2014
Hi you,
This is my very first post on my blog and in this post i will do a quick review about Mavala Double Lash, as you guys see on the title. And this is my first experience with eyelash serum, i hope it will give me an unbelievable result for my lashes and eyebrows *fingerscrossed* :p:p

Basically, Mavala Double Lash is an eyelash grower serum, a nutritive care based on natural extract, rich in vitamins and proteins. It claims that it will strengthens your lashes and your eyebrows as well. My lashes are short and sparse, but Thank God they're quite strong enough not to falling out whenever i rub my eyes, if not, i bet i won't have enough lashes to put my mascara on *sob*
So, why did i buy this serum? Because i was tempted by it's formula and i want my lashes to be a little bit longer and thicker.

Andddd i broke the original bottle right after i applied this serum for the first time, i moved the content to another small glass bottle so yeah this is how it looks like now. The serum itself has a runny texture, you can tell right away from the pictures below

First time i applied the serum to my lashes and brows it felt like applying a mascara but you will feel a little bit itchy when it goes into your eyes, you have to apply it very carefully as much as possible so it won't get into your eyes. And after 30seconds it will dries by itself.

Eyebrows: before application
Lashes: before application
Eyebrows: after application
Lashes: after application

I got my Mavala Double Eyelash from Guardian Mall Kelapa Gading for $22.17 or IDR 259.000 for 10ml
i know it's not as cheap as the one in Metro P*sar B*ru, but hey, do you prefer spending your money for the goods that you don't even know if it's authentic or not? I'm not saying that they sell inauthentic products, but how is it even possible to sell the same product with 1/3 price from the authentic one? Furthermore, this is a product that you will use on your lashes, and it's close to your eyes, you don't want something bad happened to your eyes, don't you?

I'll make another post for the result after finishing my first bottle ;)
Hope you guys enjoy this post, x
